What is our “Hexerei”, you may ask? Our Hexerei is a place full of secrets and adventure! Right behind the forest of ants, wishing stones, springs, ferns and mushrooms is where you can find our mystical homestead. At the old stove of the witch’s kitchen, a fragrant witch’s brew might be bubbling away, or perhaps we are washing our feet in the copper tub of the enchanted bathroom. Follow the scent of incense and step across the threshold into the rustic old courtyard. We welcome you daily to share our witchy wisdom with you.

Explore the hidden corners of our witchy headquarters on your own—discover the secret scent cellar, the colorful witch’s atelier, or the stable. What do you feel under the witch’s hat when you grasp with your fingertips? The magic of true understanding often lies in seeing the ordinary in a new light! At Hexerei, we seek to change your perspective.
The head witch might be sleeping and snoring right now, but we, the friendly and wise herb witches, share a dose of witchy wisdom with you every day—rain or shine. Even we are still learning… and the cows, earthworms, ants, and bees are our daily teachers.
Join us in listening to nature’s secrets. If you visit at midday, precisely at 13:13, we’ll put on our witch spectacle! We’ll tell the tales of the first witches of this mountain—the Juffinger and the Saukogl witch. In the shadows of our clothesline, they dance as silhouettes. Or, together, we’ll send colorful magic spheres into the sky.
Witnesses of Time
A house full of life, a farmstead that tells a story—its voice carried by the witches. The magic began on the neighboring mountain, where an ancient farmhouse stood, destined for demolition. Beam by beam, it was carefully dismantled and lovingly rebuilt at Hexenwasser, once again filled with warmth and life. A living testament to the craftsmanship and way of life of past generations, this 300-year-old treasure was
saved. The legend of the Söll witches of Juffing and Saukogl, who gave Hexenwasser its name, is even older.
As early as the 16th century, the two sisters were said to have lived and ruled in the Söll mountains. Today, their successors—the Hexenwasser witches—carry the ancient knowledge of traditions and healing herbs into the modern world. Witchcraft here is not about hocus pocus or spells, but rather about valuable herbal wisdom, genuine hospitality, and a good dose of humor. As keen observers of nature, the witches welcome you to seek new questions, share laughter, and awaken your senses.
